Why Partner With A Learning Expert?

I know how Simone Biles feels. I stuck the landing. I might be a little self-aggrandizing here, but it's the Olympics and it felt right. Hear me out…

Much like the people Allora works with, I’m also a small business owner. Before starting my own business, I worked for small businesses. I got to sit in the front row and watch business get built. I had planned for growing pains, but experiencing them myself is fresh. Also fresh? The feeling of absolutely nailing a pitch. That’s a high I could definitely chase.

I’ve had a lot of conversations with folks about what exactly it is I’m trying to do. Some of those conversations have not gone the way I had hoped. My pitch was murky, the value proposition wasn’t clear, the compelling reason to use my services was lost in the conversation. But that one time… oh man, that one time was a game changer.

“I need what you’re selling.”

I’ll never know for sure, but hearing a prospect immediately get it has to be what Simone feels like after yet another dazzling floor routine.

So, Jess. Get to the point. What’s the value prop? I think it’s better to let my new friend KM explain it.

KM is a sales expert. He’s got a ton of experience as a sales professional. He’s well-read in how to develop and qualify leads, how to close a deal, how to develop a solution for a client, and how to price it. But he’s not in sales anymore. Well, he is and he isn’t. These days he sells sales education. He teaches the sales process to biz. dev. and sales teams.

KM has a big opportunity on the line to be THE GUY that teaches the sales department of a major corporation how to enhance and improve their processes. He knows his content, but he has to convince his prospect that he can deliver the results they need. The sales teams he’ll be working with need to learn the content - his content. In short, he’s got to become a teacher. The only problem is, KM doesn’t have a background in education.

“I know my content. I know how to answer the questions, I can explain the processes, I can explain the rationale behind why we do things this way. But I don’t know how to package and deliver that content so that someone else can also understand it. For it to become their expertise, too. I need what you’re selling, Jess.” - KM

And that’s just it - you have tremendous expertise. But how to deliver that content - how the content is sequenced, designed, packaged, and assessed so that adults can learn it, may be a bit unfamiliar. I help you deliver your content so that your audience can learn it too.

Have a workshop, course, curriculum, or seminar on the horizon? Let’s look at it together to be sure the learning needs of adults are satisfied.

Happy teaching! (But call me if you have questions.)
